Hi :  My name is Diana Vreeken - Portsmouth VA.  My I.W. name is Finnagin. Born Feb 24 2004.  Yes he is still a puppy, a growing puppy. 
I just want you to know that I entered into your web-site today for the first time and loved it.  You have some great shots of your dogs.  I printed out the recipes for Finn.  I know he'll love them.  Come to think of it, he doesn't say no to any food.
Just one quick question.  Do you show your dogs? I love to go to a specialty but do not how to find one.  I am really new to this showing and I am still learning the ropes.

First of all, your dogs are BEAUTIFUL!  I love this site, and love reading about how much these dogs are a part of your lives.

So, about a year and a half ago, a little puppy ran up to our house and behind some bushes and cried and cried.  My boyfriend and I went outside and when he squatted down, she ran right to him and cried.  We brought her inside and she was very skinny, you could see her ribs and she was VERY timid.  She would hide underneath furniture and not come out.  We put her in the screened-in front porch in the morning before we left for work, but left the door propped open, as we were not sure if she was just lost.  When we got home from work, she was still there, underneath the plant stand.  Needless to say, after many efforts of trying to find her owner, we decided to keep her.  I am writing because I am amazed how much she looks like an Irish Wolfhound and would like to send you a picture just for the fun of it to see if you agree.  She is adorable and reminds me of Kili very much.  Although I know she could not be purebred since she is only about 25 inches tall and weighs approx 40 lbs., I would swear she is a "runt"!  So if you don't mind I am going to scan one of her pictures to show you. Just as soon as I get one, I will forward to you, hope you think she is as much of a character as we do!!  :)

I was just on your IW page, what a great resource for Irish Wolfhound info.!  My wife and I are the proud new parents of a "Dixie-dog", born in late July from the "Sir & Singer" litter. (We are going to get him Saturday- Sunstags Taranis) This is our 1st IW and your site proved to be a great read!
Just wanted to say howdy and thanks for putting up a great page on the breed- I tried to sign the guestbook but honestly did not see how.

This is my youngest son's name; my husband and I are big LOTR fans and coincidentally, rohan is "red" in Irish. Dear Balin and Kili (mum and dad too!!!) 

Although I've never met you both, (my mum and dad do not stop talking about you, or your mom and dad) so I feel I've known you all my life!!  Your website is very interesting and dog friendly, even though I'm a German Shepherd, I enjoy looking at your website, as often as possible (when I can get my mum off the computer that is!!!), I especially enjoy the photo gallery, where I can eye up some of the good looking females.  Balin you're one lucky guy!
